At Lilit`s home

Here are a couple of images from when Photographer Fanny Rådvik and I got the chance to visit Lilit Asiryan, in her joyful, welcoming and creative home.

Lilit has created just that kind of home that sparks with joy and creativity, taking your breath away without being grand or luxurious. This home looks and feels like a truly creative home. The spaces have a laidback atmosphere to them, and there are lots of nice DIY ideas throughout.

The Stockholm home is a functionalist gem, remodeled to fit the family’s needs but still keeping its soul. An extra bedroom was created by moving the kitchen to the living room.

Here is one of many pics that I snapped with my phone, part of the kitchen in blue.

Classic yet modern functionalism. I really liked the combination of closed storage painted in blue together with the open shelves kept unpainted. Also the purple bands for extra support.

The patterns on the tiles are created by melting glass beads on top of them. Available for purchase from Lilits shop, check out oners.se

Fanny in action shooting the opening towards the entry and hallway.

Cute and fun shelve for spices, like a piece of functional art in itself.

Organically shaped dining table, with space for many.

Playful and lovely mix of both colors, materials and different types of places to sit.

Plants and handcrafted, unique pieces play a central roll in Lilits home.

One of the bedrooms. Calm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

The wooden elements, simple shapes, the murals and beautiful piano with its stool made this room so harmonious.

Painted ceiling in blue, in the smaller bedroom, with dashes of white resembling stars

Absolutely loved this sculptural little lamp. Can’t remember by who - if anyone knows please let me know :)

The children’s playroom

Mixing patterned wallpaper by Josef Frank, details in rattan, pine and a lot of artpieces. A feel of folklore, countryside aesthetics.

Natural, playful, inspiring.
